Second Church Notes Previewing Christmas Plans and Meetings

County Woman Tops State Civil Service Exam
Mrs Bessie B Dey of this place earned the highest mark in the state civil service exam for Field Worker at the Tren ton state hospital with a general average of 86. Mrs Elizabeth Smith of Mercerville was second with 76. Both have worked as Field Workers for the hospital in recent months.

At the Red Bank exhibit on November 16 17 and 18 Cranbury made a fine showing. Irving Bennett of Cranbury won four first prizes and one second including Rose Comb brown Leghorn entries and a Single Comb brown. H Lewis Schanck of Cranbury captured five firsts five seconds and one third on dark Brahmas with multiple special prizes for best display and Brahma pullet and cockerel.
