Miss Lida Hubbard visits Highland Park and Trenton.
Hightstown lacks vacant properties to satisfy demand from Acme Tea Company and a large Trenton retailer seeking space. Newspapers note no empty shops, urging investors to build to expand the business district. Recent improvements include storefront upgrades and new concrete sidewalks and curbs along South Main Street.
