Fire Destroys Ewart Farm House and Outbuildings
A Thursday morning blaze on the John H. Ewart farm at Rab bit Hill near the Hightstown Princeton road destroyed the farmhouse garage and two wagon houses with most contents. The fire began in the garage from an automobile and impaired the Ewart telephone, delaying alarms until Cranbury and Hightstown firefighters arrived.

Sam Oehler Wins Two Shoots at Trenton Fair Grounds
Sam Oehler claimed both shoot-off victories at the Trenton fair grounds event on Saturday March 11 under the Sportsmen's Club. He defeated John Bar clay and Dr. W. H. Matthews for one leg on the club trophy and then beat W. S. Haints of Mount Holly in another shoot-off. Klockner won Class B and Barclay took Class C. Ochler holds four legs, needing one more. Klockner has two. Next cup shoot set for next Saturday.

Plainsboro man charged with atrocious assault
New Brunswick March 16 John Senczi of Plainsboro was jailed on a second charge of atrocious assault with intent to kill. The accusation stems from an August incident after detectives were sent to Plainsboro about a reported shooting of a wife. The woman initially claimed self infliction but now accuses Senczi of shooting her.

Girl Arton Way to See Injured Father in Crash
A 19 year old Robbinsville resident Miss Arline White was injured in a second crash after her car collided near the Robbinsville hotel with a Mercerville resident’s vehicle while en route to St Francis hospital to visit her father Gerald White who is in serious condition from a base of skull fracture.
