A Very Enjoyable Reception at the Silvers Residence
Ladies Reading Circle hosted a spring reception at the residence of Mr and Mrs J S Silvers with a local talent program including recitations duologues and solos. Reading Circle Drama Raises Funds for Public Library
The First Presbyterian chapel hosted Henry Van Dyke's The House of Rimmon performed by the Reading Circle Monday evening. The event cleared 75 dollars for the public library with Crescent Orchestra providing music and Mrs J E Curry delivering a synopsis. Participating cast included Mrs Charles Hoffman Miss Marie Groves Mrs Geo B Mershon and several others. solos were sung by Mrs Rivenburg Miss Bardell and W Russell Silvers.

Evening of Music at J Murphy Home in Cranbury

About 25 attended including Harry Stout Leroy Stout Mrs Fuhrman Mrs Shepherd Mrs Rehrig and Helen and Dorothy Rehrig. Performances featured baritone solos by Mr Stout piano and carnet solos by Leroy Stout and duets by Mrs Stout with Mrs Fuhrman. Helen Rehrig recited several pieces. A birthday cake celebrated Mrs Murphy’s 88th birthday, sent from New York relatives.
