African agriculturalists to visit Trempealeau County
African extension visitors from Nigeria and Sierra Leone arrive in Trempealeau County for two weeks observing the county extension office. Essien and Bender join about 20 international trainees studying extension work with emphasis on developing countries. They will reside at the Walgert Hotel Whitehall and can speak at community events.

Sheila Lybert of Tony-Flambeau FFA chapter will join 117 FFA members from across the country to perform for more than 23 000 FFA members and guests at the 54th national convention November 12 to 14 in Kansas City Missouri. She was 17 and chosen from over 335 applicants based on state association and teacher recommendations and prior achievements.
