Wisconsin DOT surveys to set milk hauler rates
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation conducts a state wide mail survey among milk haulers to decide whether to set minimum and maximum hauling rates from farms to dairy plants. Phase two was delayed with a hearing likely in Madison after fall data, as haulers and farmers express opposing views on possible rate increases.
