Workshop encourages non traditional careers for girls at WITI
A careers day titled Free To Be Me set for October 25 at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical Institute New Richmond campus aims to broaden area high school girls’ views of careers outside clerical and service work. Organizers Kathy Johnson and Sherry Johnson emphasize wage gaps and the value of exploration.

Prenatal class begins Tuesday in Neillsville
Expectant parents can join a four session prenatal class at Memorial Hospital Neillsville starting Oct 24 at 8 pm. Clark County Medical Society sponsors the program covering fetal development labor breathing and postpartum care with Dr Bahri O Gunger.
