Women's Day workshops explore careers concerns
The second Women's Day at District One Technical Institute Eau Claire titled Women's Alternatives II Managing My Life will be Oct 21 from 8 am to 4 pm. A $4 fee covers workshops panel discussions and lunch. Attendees may take up to four workshops from more than a dozen offerings and use a career information computer with guidance from a facilitator. Leaders include Rita Houser Diane Robie Margaret Melick Phyllis Rindfleisch and Ray Spies with sessions on time management assertiveness job sharing job seeking skills interview selling life work planning and more.
