St Croix County honors 4-H leaders at banquet event
Nearly 250 4-H leaders and guests attended St. Croix County’s recognition banquet. First National Bank of Baldwin Hammond State Bank Tom Nelson and Albert Chris were named Friends of 4-H for supporting dairy judging meat animal projects and space for promotions. Club awards went to Rolling Hills Riverside Roberts Ribbon Reapers for respective categories. Florence Jensen and Helen Holzer awards went to four youths including Cindy Brown Wayne Stillwold Jeff Rapp and Dawn Ramberg. Wisconsin Key Awardees included Sue Rhone Mary Geurkink Penny Warner Kaylene Walsh and Scott Fouks. Outstanding dairy livestock winners were Doreen Doornink and Wayne Stillwold. Fair herdsmanship went to Dry Run Go-Getters Harmony Hill Cady Lane Oakland Achievers Dylon Ramblers and Worthwhile. A banquet survey favored July 22-25 for the 1982 fair and the board set those dates to boost participation.
