Refund checks planned for former Martell policyholders
Former Martell Town Mutual Insurance policyholders will start receiving refunds later this month for unearned premiums and up to 75 percent of reassessments to cover claims from the 1980 storm and bankruptcy. Checks cover only the second assessment. prior assessments and nonpaying policyholders are excluded.
