Alma and Durand dairy farmers fund two milk machines
In Alma a six member dairy farmer committee raised 1470 to buy two used milk machines for the elementary and high schools after contacting 92 local dairy farmers. Each donor gave an average about 20 with 82 contributing. Durand's 13 member group gathered 1100 with gifts from 5 to 100 dollars toward one machine for Durand High School.
