Iowa County Museum and Information Center Opens Soon
Lyla Vinje leads the Iowa County Historical Society and Dodgeville Chamber of Commerce in opening a new museum and information center on the north side of Dodgeville. Built with native limestone and patterned after the Iowa County courthouse, it aims to be paid for by year end 1985 with a grand opening planned for Sunday May 5 after a public opening in June 1984.

Ethnic Corner Opens in County Historical Display
A county history display recreates a small country school house with donated cases and items from Norwegians and other cultures. Volunteers finished months of refurbishing furniture cataloging pictures and mounting exhibits and expect ongoing updates. building hours begin May 5 daily 9 am to 4 pm with school tours by appointment.
DATCP to Hold Three Public Hearings on Chapter Ag 140
The Wisconsin DATCP will hold hearings in Altoona Madison and Green Bay in May to consider adopting Chapter Ag 140 covering marketing orders agreements and boards. Written comments are due by May 22. The May 7 8 and 9 sessions will address election organization and administration of marketing boards and related orders.
