Al Herrmann of the state department of agriculture Trade and consumer Protection confirmed to the country today last thursday that one european company has stated flatly that it definitely will locate in Wisconsin a reportedly in the Beaver dam area. This company would make a foreign Type cheese for distribution and Sale solely in the United states. This newspaper last Jan. 30 broke the Story that six european firms were negotiating with cheese plants in at least six states to determine where they would strike an agreement with an existing Plant or buy out an existing cheese factory in order to produce european Type cheese for Sale in this country. About 30 Wisconsin cheese plants responded to an announcement made in National milk referendum set Washington . The referendum on continuing the National Dairy promotion and research Board has been scheduled for a 60-Day period starting aug.
