Governor Earl Tackles Hearty Barron County Dairy Breakfast

Governor Tony Earl joined the Barron County June Dairy Month Breakfast at the Holter farm near New Auburn, eating a substantial menu of four pancakes eggs with ham milk cheese and coffee all sourced from Wisconsin farms. He discussed farm debt restructuring and taxes with farmers and agri business leaders, praised the plan to try mediators instead of lenders, and noted the statewide drinking law signing in Hudson. The 1900 attendance reflected strong rural support as officials and candidates for the 3rd Congressional District circulated, with generous servings of REAL Wisconsin products and a festive economy mood.
