USDA names dairy division head Edward Coughlin
Edward T. Coughlin was named acting director of the USDA dairy division in the Agricultural Marketing Service with the June 14 effective date. William Manley, acting AMS administrator, cited a lengthy career and noted a survey will determine if he becomes permanent director. The dairy division oversees 49 federal milk orders, market reports, and plant inspections.
