Dual roles power dairy farmer to Dairyland president
Edward J. Holdorf of La Crosse balances farm duties with leadership of Dairyland Power Cooperative. He oversees a 400 acre operation with 45 dairy cattle, 40 beef animals and 150 hogs while guiding cooperative policy, energy debates, and plans such as a load control system to curb peak demand. He favors tenure limits for directors, opposes volume based rates, and backs prudent use of alternative energy without subsidizing member investments.
