Dial-A-Tape ends temporarily as statewide system is prepared
UW Extension and UW Eau Claire suspend Dial-A-Tape and Health Line free information services for winter while expanding the statewide system to cover every Wisconsin county. Dial-A-Tape in Eau Claire and partner counties resumes late January on a trial basis with Luther Hospital. The new system will offer about 1,000 taped messages on health, gardening, energy conservation and more. toll free access will direct residents to a Madison office. The week’s other event features a January 12 talk in Greenwood on The Phosphate Ban and Your Laundry by Evelyn Thompson of FMC Corp at Clark Electric Auditorium, sponsored by UWcn and open to the public.
