Chippewa to vote on farmland preservation plan
Chippewa County Supervisors will likely vote in February on a new farmland preservation plan for the county. The plan, unveiled recently, sets criteria for voluntary enrollment for tax credits, including minimum cropland and income thresholds, and requires state approval plus local board consent.
