DNR seeks revocation of Bruce driller's permit
The Wisconsin DNR moved to revoke Larry Harris's well drilling permit after evidence of 18 improper wells and construction reports up to three years late. At a Rusk County hearing, witness Dorie Turpin testified that holes were too small, risking contamination, and that reports were inaccurate. The revocation, if granted, lasts one year, after which a new permit could be issued.
