Indianhead Appaloosa Stallion Auction Raises 2595
The second annual Indianhead Appaloosa Stallion auction at the Last Resort netted 2595 for the club. Lola Erickson of Prairie Farm said 17 stallions from across the country donated one service each to be auctioned. The top bid was 550 for one service from Colida, owned by Bill Cass of Welch Oklahoma, sold to a Minnesota couple. Successful bidders must take their mares to the stallion’s owner for breeding.
