Dairy nutrition meetings set in Polk County
Two dairy nutrition meetings are planned in January in Polk County. On January 11 Dr. Terry Howard discusses silo preservatives and ration balancing with a 10 am to 3 pm session at the Agriculture Center Building in Balsam Lake, including a computer assisted ration balancing demo. A January 19 meeting at Caulderwood Lodge on Bone Lake features Dr. Neal Jorgenson addressing metabolic disorders and feed effects, with spouses encouraged to attend.
