District 1 incidents include Aug 20 vehicle burglary on Wallace Ave with a stolen stereo from a 1990 Honda Accord valued at 300, Aug 22 grand theft at METRX gym with a $4,000 Rolex, Aug 26 grand theft of a diamond ring from a Tustin Ave home, Aug 22 commercial burglary at Maurer Marine for a $1,700 Mercury boat motor, Aug 23 vehicle burglary on West 18th St for a box speaker and car stereo, Aug 26 petty theft of a locked bicycle at Triangle Square, Aug 26 residential burglary on West Bay St for a 22 caliber handgun and ammo valued at 830, Aug 26 vehicle burglary on West 16th St for an air compressor, Aug 27 residential burglary on Raleigh for a video camera, cash, and jewelry totaling 1,320. Arrests include Jesus Francisco Diza, 18, on suspicion of burglary and receiving stolen property.
