George Farrell Dies in Veteran Hospital
George Charles Farrel died in the Veterans' hospital at Brecks ville Ohio Sunday night. He was born January 18 1868 in Wakatomics Ohio and lived at 118 North Fifth Street Coshocton. He was a Spanish American War veteran and longtime butcher at Coshocton, a Sacred Heart Church member. He survived by his wife Frances O Donnell Farrell and two grandchildren, with five sisters and one daughter predeceasing him. Funeral arrangements set for Thursday at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church with burial at South Lawn Cemetery.

George D. Loist a 25 year old Columbus airlines pilot on leave was shot and killed in a Washington hotel room by his step father Wilbur Stammler of New York City. Stammler then killed himself. Police found Stammler's body across Loist in a spacious hotel suite. Loist and his wife Ruth Lemieux occupied the same suite with Stammler. Papers show Stammler had adopted Loist in Shreveport Louisiana last week. In Columbus Loist's mother Mrs M B Guthrie said he studied music in New York.
