Train collision kills up to fifty in Arkansas Valley
In Denver Colorado 40 to 50 passengers died or were roasted alive after a two train collision on the Denver and Rio Grande line at 2 am. The wreck occurred near Florence in the Arkansas valley about 140 miles from Denver. A brief help wanted notice asks for two boys for a few days at Eldridge and Higgins company 166.

Raid at Blanchard resort nets five arrests
Police raid on a noted Blanchard resort led to five prisoners, including three women. Officer Wagner conducted the operation.
