New venire yields two jurors as Dickerson trial delays stretch to near Easter. Judge Eason announces 28 jurors named and seven recesses. jurors choose to exercise and the session resumes after lunch as officials prep for up to 150 witnesses.

The lower chamber also passed two school appropriations, $855,000 for irreducible debt interest and $2,200,000 for common schools.
Surveyor George Hock provides a complete blue print map of the murder scene at Mrs Hughes home. The plan marks the Dickerson and Augheses residences, James Dobson’s location, the fatal spring and surrounding wood lot. Witnesses may be shown the map during the case proceedings.

Court room 30 in Dickerson trial holds 300 chairs for visitors while over a million folding chairs fill the space. The room is at capacity with many people standing at entrances during sessions. After a Wednesday recess Mr Vigman began cleaning the big hall.

An Age representative delivered Ben Dickerson a photo used for the life size cut on Monday. He had waited weeks for the image after the negative was taken. Dickerson, excited, said it was the first picture in years and likened his reaction to a boy with a new sled.
Mrs G Pomerene received two telegrams Thursday morning with news of the death of Mrs Brooks of Zanesville mother of Miss Eleanor Brooks a well known figure in Coshocton. She was eighty and had been declining. funeral plans were not yet announced. She is survived by four children, three daughters and one son.
Two nine year old boys Otto Mosholder and Forest Wintermute disappeared from New Castle after leaving home Sunday. They were last seen in Nashport then on a trolley toward Newark. Parents seek clues while the community hopes for a safe return and the mother battles illness.
