The county commissioners received a late filed report by engineers Buell Hanlon and Ginn criticizing oversight on the Mediev Tuscarawas piling project. It states 12 pilings were pulled and all fell short of 30 feet, longest around 240 feet, with about $1700 paid to contractor Medley and $1000 withheld. Two Stricken by Paralysis In Rest Home Area
B. W. Adams suffered a severe stroke Saturday afternoon while returning from a market. He collapsed at the corner of Tenth and East Main, was carried inside, and later conveyed to his Walnut street home with the right side paralyzed and critical condition. Mrs. H. C. Lang also had a stroke Monday morning, found unconscious on the floor at noon by her daughter.
