Mrs. Nancy Jane Lyskowinski died September 14 at 8 p.m. in the home of her son John Lyskowinski in Lanesville. Born on a farm she lived there all her life. She married Thomas Lyskowinski on September 24, 1863. he survives with three children Mrs. Frank Leitch John Lyskowinski and Marion Lyskowinski. Funeral was at Lanesville M E church and burial followed in Lanesville cemetery. Her husband is ninety years old and also honored locally.

Tell City Bank Cashier Vanishes with Missing Funds
Alphonse Schaerer, cashier of Citizens' National Bank of Tell City for thirteen years, left on vacation and did not return. A national bank examiner found a missing amount of 21009 pounds in government bonds with coupons, covered by Schaerer's bond of 20009 and the bank's surplus. The cause of the disappearance remains unknown.

Two Men Shot at Elizabeth in Self Defense Claim
Thomas L. Rusk shot at John and Frank Fulton after a string of confrontations in Elizabeth. John Fulton seriously wounded with head and torso injuries but improving. Frank lightly hurt. Jacob Fawver, a prominent farmer about ten miles north west of Corydon, was seriously hurt Monday afternoon when a horse kicked him in the head while he was leading two horses. The left temple was fractured and mashed, and doctors feared loss of sight or the eye. Dr Sonne of Corydon and Dr Glenn of Ramsey attended.

Man Killed Feeding Rock Crusher Near Bridgeport
Eunice Bandy died yesterday at ten while feeding a rock crusher at a Bridgeport site. A rock car malfunction caused the car to crash into the crusher, crushing him. he died minutes later before aid arrived. A native of Sweetwater Tennessee about thirty years old, he had lived and worked at the river road rock yard and boarded with Robt Williams. Coroner J E Roby and deputy Jos Feller conducted an inquest Tuesday afternoon. funeral plans were not announced.
