Burial of Private Norman G. Stonecipher Returns Home
The body of Private Norman G. Stonecipher, a World War I soldier, returned from France for burial at Milltown cemetery. Harrison Post American Legion conducted the graveside service with Corydon members present. Stonecipher, born April 17, 1894 in Depauw, served with Company M of the 125th Infantry, 32nd Division, and was killed October 11, 1918 in the Meuse Argonne Offensive.

The body of George Pellman was returned from France for burial in this county. Funeral services were held Monday at Rehoboth conducted by Rev. Holden. Harrison Post of the American Legion led grave ceremonies. Pellman who was born July 30 1897 served in Company 5 And Infantry Indiana Home Guard and died October 4 1918 from wounds in the Argonne Forest during World War I. He was survived by siblings and parents Fred and Sarah Pellman predeceased.
