A Saturday night fire at the Stanley home and business in Lanesville killed Elizabeth Josephine nine, Charles seven, and John William six. Sunshine Hatcheries Expands Capacity Near Corydon
Joe T. McClaran owner of Sunshine Hatcheries has received incubator shipments to be set at a site a mile and a half northwest of Corydon. The new setup will push capacity beyond 60 000 eggs, with weekly output over 15 000 chicks and a need for 70 cases of eggs weekly. A recent order totaling 172 000 chicks was placed with the hatchery.
