In Corydon Squire William T. Morris was found Aughty? lying in a pool of blood with a cut throat at his barber shop near the post office. He survived after Dr. Amy closed the wound with stitches and he was moved to his North Mulberry home. Morris, a longtime barber and Justice of the Peace, has been popular locally and faced health and financial troubles that may have led to the act.

She was visiting when heart disease proved fatal in the bathroom. Survived by husband two sons four daughters two brothers and two sisters. Funeral held November 15 at St Michaels Catholic church Bradford.

Death of a Good Woman in New Middletown
Sarah Richert nee Louie widow of George Richert died at her home in New Middletown on November 11 aged 79 years 7 months 13 days. She was born in Harrison township Harrison County April 4 150 her surviving children Lena A Richert and Lena B Richert and Elizabeth Richert plus four daughters and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held at St Peters Lutheran church conducted by Rev Wm L Burger. Burial followed in St Peters cemetery.

Thief Steals Four Cord Tires From Byrneville Garage

Young Man Dies in Accident Near Blue River
Roy Franklin Haas, 18, son of the late Edward Haas, was killed Monday when a gun discharged while he was getting out of a skiff near the Blue River mouth in V ar Vision county. He was born November 20 1908 and would have turned nineteen the next day. He had worked at Dam 44 on the Ohio River. Surviving are his mother Mrs Charles Knear four brothers one sister and a half brother. Funeral services were conducted at Rehoboth church by Rev Citt.
