About fifty Harrison county Masons from Pisgah Lodge No. 32 Corydon attended a banquet in Louisville hosted by George Washington Lodge. They were greeted at the Kentucky end of the K and S Bridge and welcomed with banners reading Welcome Pisgah No 382. The event featured a dinner at the Young Men's Hebrew Association building and a Master Mason degree conferred on three candidates.

Burned by Gasoline Stove Injury At Home
Mr. Guy Mowrer of near New Amsterdam was badly burned on his hands when a gasoline stove tank burst into flames in the kitchen last week. He grabbed the tank and threw it outside, managing to extinguish the fire after the blaze spread.

Mrs. Mary Leffler died Sunday at her daughter Mrs. George Kusler’s home near New Middletown after pneumonia and related diseases. She was 81 and had been ill for some time. Funeral at Kusler home Tuesday at 2 PM conducted by Rev. M C Patterson. Burial in Sharon Cemetery. Survived by six children and two sisters.

Cafeteria Supper and Show Benefit Legion Activities
The Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion held a Cafeteria Supper at the Grade School gym last Saturday featuring chicken pork gravy slaw potatoes cake pie ice cream and coffee. Julius F. Tronein died at his Bridgeport home Friday morning after years of illness. He was 62, survived by his wife and three children Claude, Mrs. Clara Newcomb, and Mrs. Abbie Dennison, plus two brothers Eugene and Adolph Troncin. Burial was in Vincennes Indiana after a Sunday funeral conducted by the local Methodist minister. the Troncin family had lived in Vincennes and Spencer township for years. JAIL HERE FOR MOORE LIQUOR CHARGE INDIANA
Horace Moore and his son Clarence, both of Louisville, are jailed in Corydon on charges of manufacturing liquor in the county. A still was seized near Lanesville. indictments were returned against the Moores and Andrew Becker. Becker posted $500 bond for release after surrendering to the sheriff. Clarence pleaded guilty to manufacturing liquor before a justice, who bound him over to the circuit court.
