Prominent Corydon Merchant W H Keller Dies in Florida
W H Keller Jr of Corydon died at 9 30 p m last Wednesday in Seabreeze Florida after months of illness. He promoted many private and public enterprises, built Corydon’s largest department store and Keller Wagon Factory, achieved the town water works and electric lights, and supported church and temperance efforts. Funeral was held in Corydon Christian church with large attendance and notable floral tributes. He is survived by five children, his wife Jessie Allen, four grandchildren, and siblings.

Town Ordinance Consolidates Clerk and Treasurer Duties
The Board of Town Trustees of Corydon Indiana passes an ordinance effective January 1 1924 mandating one person perform both Clerk and Treasurer duties and that the elected Clerk also serve as Town Treasurer with a salary of 300 dollars per year. Approved at the November 2 1923 meeting signed by Dropsey and Wolfe.

Death of Irma Brown Four-Year-Old
Irma Lee Brown the four year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Lee Brown of Elizabeth died Monday after long illness from complications. Survivors include her parents a sister and two brothers. Burial is set at Rogers Camp Ground at 2 o clock today.

Mrs. Sarah A. Thomas widow of Philip A. Thomas died at her daughter’s home south of Corydon on November 1 1923 aged 86 years two months five days. Survived by daughter Mrs. John W. Bliss and son Chas W. Thomas with ten grandchildren eleven great grandchildren. A Presbyterian, she reared her children after her Civil War veteran husband died. Funeral Sunday at Shiloh with Rev. Mark L. Harris. burial in Jordan’s cemetery. Maiden name Carter born August 26 1837 in the county.

The Harrison County Historical Society held its autumn meeting in the old Court House with good attendance. Officers for 1924 were elected: Lew M.
