Mrs. Mary Catherine Wilson widow of Joshua T. Wilson died suddenly at her son Otway Wilsons home near Corydon between four and five pm. She was 85 and left five children, eleven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Funeral at Corydon Presbyterian Church Wednesday at two with DAR participation. Burial in Cedar Till Cemetery.
James N Kiethley died Friday November 16 at his home near Byrneville after a Tong illness of heart trouble. He was sixty nine, married twice and leaves three children by his first marriage in the West. His second wife survives with three brothers. Born and raised near Georgetown, Texas he was a food mate. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at one o’clock from the residence conducted by Rev. Robert Kelley of Georgetown.
Last Monday neighbors and friends of widow Mrs Pitman in Hickman gathered at her home to shred corn. Earlier in spring they had broken ground and planted it, and her three children led by a fourteen year old helped tend the crop. Rev J G Moore assisted and praised the effort.

The Ladies Aid gathers Wednesday afternoon at the church with a topic "Now we got our Bible Early English Versions" for the evening service. Thursday at 7 pm Mrs. M Adams speaks for the Star Group. Sunday services at 8:30 and 10:30 with study on "The Perfect Man in Friendship" and 7 pm "Why I Believe in Christianity" led by Pastor F J Carr. Lincoln quote noted.

Word comes of the death of Arville Cunningham youngest son of Mr and Mrs Richard Cunningham Pekin Illinois at about 10 oclock Sunday morning He was about ten years old and had been ill only a short time The death was unexpected The Cunninghams and family formerly lived in New Amsterdam and have friends and relatives in the county who mourn the loss Also note a local ad for Snow White Flour made in Corydon by Hureka Milling Company
More than a hundred guests attended a D A R social at Judge and Mrs. T J Wilson's North Market Street home. The program included gypsy songs fortune telling and a Bohemian Girl tale with piano violin and vocal numbers. Funds raised support Harrison Mansion the James Whitcomb Riley Memorial Hospital and the Constitution Elm fund.

Mrs. Kate Connell Hanley died Sunday November 18 after a lingering illness at her Muncie home. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Connell of Harrison county. She leaves four sons, one daughter and four brothers James Connell of Lafayette Edw Connell of Indianapolis Thos Connell and Andrew Connell of New Albany.
Dr. Lea Riely of Oklahoma City spent Friday at a local spot with his nephew Sam Riely then left for home Saturday morning after attending a Southern Medical Association meeting in Washington. He lectures in the Oklahoma University Medical department and maintains a large practice. Dr. James Riely traveled from Marengo to meet his uncle Lea.

Col Jennings B. Wilson of Chicago arrived at Corydon yesterday afternoon after being summoned by the death of his mother Mrs. Mary Catherine Wilson.
The death of four year old Irma Elizabeth Brown is reported with birth on October 24 1919 and death on November 5 1923. Funeral services were held at Rogers Camp Ground with Rev Kitt officiating. She leaves father mother two brothers one sister and grandparents James Brown Harrison county and Charles Stallings Indianapolis. The obituary notes several floral offerings and a religious farewell.
Friends report Thomas B Sonner of New Albany is in a critical condition from cancer of the face and neck after a long period of suffering. A native of Washington township, he was a longtime Harrison county teacher and county treasurer of Crawford county. He later worked in English and has been with the American Bank and Trust Company in New Albany.
