Chairman John A. Cabell noted stored items are in good condition and budgets could drop to about $3,000 for a repeat production at the County Fairgrounds during the fair.

Three Corydon Youths Sentenced for Shooting Dogs

NFO Milk Withholding Gaining Support Daily
The National Farmers Organization milk withholding campaign grows stronger in Harrison County with new local joiners each day. NFO groups in at least 25 states withhold milk to push prices to about 6.00 per hundred pounds or 12 cents a gallon, as prices now run eight to ten cents. Farmers recall higher earnings in 1948 51, and several NFO members helped picket out of county milk processors Sunday night. The NFO offered free milk to those in need, but local grocers say supplies were not yet affected.
