Crash on State Road 135 kills man injures four
Clyde Baxter Sorrelis of Sassa fras Ky was fatally injured in a two car collision on Highway 135 about 1.5 miles south of Corydon at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Four other persons were injured and reported recovering. Sorrelis 21 suffered a broken neck and worked laying telephone cable for Tudor-Yager Inc.

Tom Enlow Returns From Vietnam With Purple Heart
Sp4 Tom Enlow returned home after 12 months with the 25th Infantry Division in Vietnam where scrapnel wounds to his hip earned him the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He had prior jungle training in Hawaii and after a 30 day leave will resume the last six months of service in the states. He is married to Lynnette Hill. his brother James Enlow recently completed six months at Fort Knox with the National Guard.

County Couple Joins Vista Challenge Peace Corps Effort
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dyer of Elizabeth have been accepted to work with the Vista Challenge project of the Peace Corps. They began preparation after contacting Washington and completed six weeks of training in Oklahoma City. In March they traveled to the University of Utah for sociology training, awaiting further orders. A farewell dinner at Smiths Ladies Aid Hall on March 12 honored the couple and presented luggage.
