A Tansey county cow set a new world record for seven days milk production with 680 pounds of milk and 2047 pounds of butterfat. The Holstein Jersey cross animal named Mepr On Ful Hooded, owned by Seth Side Farm near White Bear Station, surpassed the previous record by Broch Bessie. The test was supervised by Lesotu Experiment Station and extended into December.
