The new township reform law requires all township trustees to present annual receipts and expenditures to Advisory Boards on Tuesday January 7 1902. Copies must be filed with the County Auditor for approval within ten days and, once approved, the reports must be published in two county newspapers for one insertion.

Commissioners Close Year with Stationery Bid Award

The Board of Commissioners met last Friday and Saturday to close the year. Claims were allowed on Friday and the stationery contract for 1902 was let on Saturday with three bidders. Sentinel Printing Company and Levy Bros. Co. of Indianapolis won first and second class bids about 1200 total, while Thomas & Ellis won third class at 345. Commissioner Michael Gleitz retired after three years. friends gifted him rockine chairs in farewell.

Thomas H. Crecelius son of Mr and Mrs Henry Crecelius wed Miss Emma B.
