Death claims Ed Shrigley in Scott Township
Edward Shrigley died at his home in Scott township last Thursday night after a two week illness. Funeral services were held at Blue River Chapel conducted by Rev. Will Brandenburg and a Blue River Valley Grange service followed by burial in Blue River Chapel cemetery. He was aged fifty one and leaves a large family, a son Charles Shrigley of Houston Texas and a daughter Mrs Anne Cushinehain of Gravinet, plus a wife and five other children. He served as a director of the Wayne County Agricultural Society and was a longtime member of the Blue River Chapel United Brethren Church.
