Lorenzo Dow Bottorff, Harrison County's oldest citizen, died at his Corydon area home near Cedar Hill Cemetery at age ninety six. He left four living children and nine grandchildren, with a long record of church loyalty and learning. Aunt Mag Margaret Grable died at Corydon aged eighty five after a long rheumatic illness. funeral held at Corydon M B H church with music and a long obituary noting her missionary work and family.

Paris dies at 72 in New Albany home of son
Winfield Paris aged 72 died Sunday morning March 26 at the home of his son Judge John M. Paris in New Albany. He leaves a wife a son Judge Paris and two daughters Miss Sarah L Paris and Mrs J J Johnson of Milltown. A lifelong Washington township native he was a longtime pilot on Ohio and Mississippi riverboats and held a special license for the falls between Louisville and New Albany. He was a member of the T O O F at Leavenworth and the Central Christian church. Burial will be in Leavenworth.

Death of Arthur McCoy at Mott after long illness
Arthur McCoy died at his home in Mott last Sunday after a long tuberculosis illness. He was about 44 and had lived alone after his wife died of tuberculosis. He is survived by a brother Martin McCoy of the county. The funeral was held at the B church in Mott with Rev. Curtis Es kew and Rev. F. C. Raaf officiating and burial in Bethlehem cemetery south of Crandall.
