Unseasonal warm day, car theft, and local incidents
Partly cloudy weather and unseasonal warmth frame a day of police activity and minor crimes. Northwestern Pennsylvania hunters seek a stolen 191 Oldsmobile coupe owned by Dr Thomas Thames of OU City, while a couple found asleep in the car near York Furst is noted by a passerby. Police plan to curb vandalism at Whittlesey tennis court and a Rex theatre weekly award goes unclaimed. Various accidents, missing youth, mushroom forecasts, and a Greer attack bulletin round out a day of local notes.

He warns the district may have to tax residents if aid fails to materialize. Notice: Curry and Gizee announce Charles A. Myers returns as representative at Memorial Store No 1 East Columbus Avenue.
