Business Women To Honor Two Girls Of The Month
The Corry Business and Professional Women's Club will honor Jill Sorenson and Mane Suchar as October and November Girls of the Month at the October meeting in the Colonial Room of the Moose. Both seniors at Corry Area High School were chosen for leadership, scholarship and citizenship. They will receive certificates and engraved charms. The program, Young Careerist, will be presented by Jan Lansberry with a business session led by president Miss Charlotte Pierce.

Norma Joan Christensen and Francis Clark Hunter exchanged nuptial vows on Saturday at Parade Street United Methodist Church Union City with Rev. Harold Lyman officiating. The couple will reside on Murray Road in Union City. Attendants included Matron of Honor Mrs. Rachel Hladek and Best Man David Mighiaccio. A 1 p.m. ceremony was followed by a 2 to 6 p.m. reception at Elgin Beaverdam Fire Hall attended by family from multiple states. The wedding party wore coordinating attire and guests came from Corry, Union City, Clarion, Spartansburg, Center ville, Wattsburg, Butler, Meadville, Pittsfield, Clymer, Jamestown NY, Ramsey NJ, Virginia Beach, Alexandria VA, and Maryland.
