Many Corry Cases On Trial List For November Grand Jury

The Bele County November grand jury will review a large list of Corry cases headed by George Ing murder and assault with intent to kill. The docket includes larceny, entering and larceny, receiving stolen goods, and violations of liquor and tax laws as numerous defendants appear for arraignment and trial. The schedule sets November 4 with Wing's case and others to be presented through November 7.

Grafton Bank Closed After Examiner Takeover

The Merchants and Mechanics Savings Bank in Grafton was ordered closed today with a notice on the door stating the bank was in the hands of examiners and had not run out of deposits.
