Truck Hit by Engine Woman Uninjured in Oil City Collision
Mrs Herbert Waslohn driver of a gasoline station vehicle escaped serious harm when a switch engine struck her truck on Hanna Street in Oil City Third Ward at about 9 45 this morning The vehicle was thrown from Hanna to Petroleum Street and into a watchman's cabin She was hospitalized for examination and X rays to assess injuries The truck was a total wreck and a Fleckenstein garage crew towed it away The switch engine headed toward the National Transit Pump and Machine Co shops

Autumn Supper at M. B. Church Draws 200 Attendees
The Alabian Society hosted its annual autumn supper at the M. B. church lining room with over two hundred guests. Mrs. J. N. Fuller led the event with help from Mrs. Frank Lillie and Mrs. Lina J. Saxton. Proceeds will support church work. Fire destroyed hay in a barn owned by Flaugh-Lagan Transfer Company, requiring Meadville firemen to respond yesterday.

Small game season opens in Pennsylvania
