Five leaders of the Grand Army of Liberation were executed at dawn in San Luis Potosi after a brief hospital recovery and a three hour trial. Among the condemned was Jacinto Loyola, inspector general of revolutionary forces in San Luis Potosi Guanajuato and Quaretaro. Federal troops reported ongoing actions against rebels, including a battle near Blotepec Oaxaca with at least 12 rebel soldiers killed.

Corry motor club members and highway boosters attended a Roosevelt Highway Association motor caravan event in Corry yesterday.
