George Wing twenty of Convard township pleaded guilty in homicide charges and related assault with intent to kill his nephew and the child’s mother. Sentencing expected in Erie county court within the next few days after a hearing for guilt degree. Commonwealth witnesses testified including Patrolman Ruppersburg and D B Leach. sanity opinion by Dr H W Mitchell noted. Wing is represented by Attorneys Graham and Poley. Claude Boulton pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of Edward Brown, an employee of the Saegertown Inn. He was sentenced by Judge Clare Kent in Crawford county, Meadville, to eighteen months in the Allegheny County workhouse. Brown died after a quarrel following heavy drinking. State troopers traced those with Brown the night of August 31, leading to Boulton’s arrest.

United Press reports a youthful robber derailed a Union Pacific passenger train near Cheyenne Wyoming, escaping into the badlands.
