Two Held for Grand Jury in Robbery Case
Harold Taylor and Frances Taylor were held for the grand jury in Warren County on charges of receiving stolen goods linked to a spree of burglaries including a theft from the B. Guignon store. Orphans Aid Box Packed by Rebekah Lodge and Odd Fellows
About one hundred members and their wives packed a charity box for Meadville Home filled with blankets clothing and writing supplies. The event followed a succor supper at 8 40 p m and included a preview display of items in LO O hall. The box was assembled by Mia Mae Reed and officers. The annual Christmas party is set for December 12 at Mrs A C Reed’s home with a turkey dinner and gifts under 250. The next lodge meeting is January 5 to elect officers.

First Degree Murder Ruling by Judge Hirt
George Wing 29 confessed killer of his sister in Brio County. Judge William Hirt sentenced him to life imprisonment for first degree murder after finding him guilty at the November term. Wing waited along a road and shot Mrs Ormsbee and her child during a dispute over alleged disorder. He was captured in the woods and had his sanity examined, with experts deeming him of low mentality but not sane. The state plans to send him to the Western penitentiary.
