NYC Man Shot Aboard Greyhound Bus On Turnpike
A 55-year-old man from New York City was shot in the head aboard a Pittsburgh to New York Greyhound bus on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Bedford. State police seized a woman in custody and charged her with assault with intent to kill. Robert Page survived after treatment at Bedford County Memorial Hospital. The shooter used a .38 caliber pistol carried by the suspect. no other injuries were reported.

Dwyer’s License Plate Bill Fails in Senate Fight

Erie motor from a small boat carrying Andrew Chatary vanished in Lake Erie last Saturday was found in shallow water near Twenty Mile Creek off North East Township. The 12 foot aluminum boat had been located earlier, with the motor seen as water calmed and partially visible. The fisherman, 55 year old Andrew Chatary of Bairdsford, Pa., was last seen heading toward Elk Creek in the lake. search continues as no sign of the man.
