Pressure Cooker Explosion Damages Lynn Sill Farm Home

A pressure cooker exploded at the Lynn Sill farm home in Beaverdam on Sunday injuring no one but causing extensive damage. The blast shattered mirrors and several plate glass windows, with fragments injuring ceilings and walls and a large metal piece landing in the main living room near Lynn Sill Sr who escaped unharmed. Plane hunts for missing air mail pouch after lighted search

A Lawrence Alport air mail ship piloted by Dr. Harry Rhodes conducted an aerial hunt for a missing mail pouch over fields east of Corey. Dr. C. F. Bennett to Leave Corry

Friends of Dr and Mrs G F Bennett of Corry were shocked to learn they have sold their property and will leave the city. Dr Bennett, in practice here 24 years, sold to Dr Stanton Bower of Angola NY who will work with Bennett until his successor is settled. Dr Bower is Cornell trained. Fire damages Union Legion home in early morning blaze

A three story brick veneer Union City Legion post building suffered extensive damage after a fire burned from the lounge and bar area on the first floor and spread to the second floor.
