Enroute to this city for a weekend visit, James Carrig Miss Margaret Clark and Miss Emme Lou Filson escaped serious injuries when their automobile was sideswiped by another machine on Parker's Hill, north of Butler, Sunday morning. Carrig suffered facial and head lacerations but is expected to recover. The three young women were only slightly hurt, with Miss Clark employed as a teacher at Earns City and Miss Filson residing at Petrolia. Mrs. Mary Clark and Misses Louise and Alice Moust Grove followed to Petrolia yesterday after receipt of word of the accident.
