Des Moines Nov 4 United Press reports Young Republican leaders from 30 states opened a nationwide convention aimed at influencing Republican Party policies for 1986. Delegates voiced willingness to cooperate with the National Committee while criticizing recent perceived dictation by party leadership and pledging independence from reactionary elements.
